L'Association coopérative d’économie familiale (ACEF) du Sud-Ouest de Montréal  is a non-profit community organization that works to defend the rights of the citizens in the area of consumption. ACEF provides tools and activities to citizens and citizens to enable them:

Information about personal finance and tools
You can participate in all activities organized by the South West ACEF during the year for the annual membership fee of  $ 10, or $ 2 for a low-income person.

The debts Solutions workshop gives you the opportunity to have an overview of your financial situation (your income and expenses, your debt) and to explore ways of possible solutions to a debt problem.
Budget counseling will help you after you have attended the workshop "Debt Solutions to" better understand the nature of your financial problems and to verify the relevance of the solutions you have proposed.
Training on planning a personal budget
The course on budgeting ( for people with average incomes ) allows you to acquire a method of managing your personal finances, understand what your guide budgetary choices and food for thought on your spending habits .
Workshops for organizations
The South-West ACEF of Montreal also designed training workshops that cater to community organizations , educational institutions and private companies . These workshops address various topics related to budget , credit and debt .
