Espace Knox

Espace Knox is a non-profit artist-run community centre. We facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration as well as research, production and diffusion of works. We are located in a former Presbyterian church, and are invested in protecting and honouring its heritage by making the space available to the community for arts and culture.
Our goal is to support emerging artists by offering members—painters, sculptors, curators, writers, new media practitioners, filmmakers, illustrators, and more—an affordable space in which to develop and enrich their practice with the opportunity for collaboration on interdisciplinary projects. The space will also be available to other non-profit community organizations whose projects align with our mission.

About Infinithéâtre

Infinithéâtre discovers, develops and produces innovative plays from Québec playwrights and, since 2016, indigenous playwrights throughout Canada. Infinithéâtre produced hits such as Oren Safdie’s Unseamly which scoured the garment industry’s treatment of women; Mr. Goldberg goes to Tel Aviv which shed new light into the Palestinian/Israeli conflict; as well as, Alyson Grant’s Progress! This humorously offered the antidote to life in our absurd universe, to name but a few.
