Le Conseil Communautaire NDG est fier d'être l'hôte de la 2e édition du Combat des Livres NDG Reads!

Joignez-vous à nous le 22 février pour assister à une bataille littéraire alors que des vedettes de notre communauté défendent certaines des meilleures œuvres littéraires de Montréal jusqu'à ce qu'un livre soit couronné le roman montréalais à lire!

Le thème de cette année est "Turf Wars". Célébrant les différences subtiles que l'on retrouve d'un quartier de Montréal à l'autre; lequel de ces livres offre la meilleure représentation de notre ville ?

Les oeuvre montréalaises qui seront défendues sont :

Cycling to Asylum par Su J. Sokol
Born Into: A Fan’s Life It par Jay Baruchel
Rue par Melissa Bull
Sun of a Distant Land par David Bouchet

Nous partagerons plus d'informations sur les livres, les auteurs et nos vedettes qui ont choisi de les défendre dans les semaines à venir.

The NDG Community Council is excited to be hosting our second annual Combat des Livres NDG Reads!

Join us on February 22nd to witness a literary battle as some of NDG’s finest defend some of Montreal’s best literature until one book is crowned the must read Montreal novel.

The theme for this year is “Turf Wars.” Celebrating the quirks and subtle differences that can be found as you travel from one neighbourhood to the next, which one of these literary gems provides the best representation of Montreal?

The Montreal masterpieces that will be defended are:

• Cycling to Asylum by Su J. Sokol
• Born Into It: A Fan’s Life by Jay Baruchel
• Rue by Melissa Bull
• Sun of a Distant Land by David Bouchet

Leading up to Combat des Livres NDG Reads we will be posting information about the books, their authors, and the literary heroes who chose to defend them.

Thank you to the Aviva Community fund and all of the amazing people who voted for us in order to make our second edition of Combat des Livres NDG Reads a reality!

NDG COMMUNITY CALENDAR is a tool to share any activities (events, job offers, volunteer requests, AGMs, funding announcements etc.) in NDG.
Who can use this tool: 
Non-profit organizations, community groups, tables, committees, coalitions, NDG institutions, NDG Community Council Members.
Purpose: 
to help organizations to publish and coordinate their events. Community groups can consult which date to choose when they are planning time and date of an event.

Announcements and events will be shared in our weekly newsletter.

Types of announcements:

Please note that we only promote initiatives or organisations that are officially registered as non-profits.
